I can’t quite put my finger on why… but looking at newborn pictures is like drinking a warm cup of tea on a cold day. It makes me feel calm and happy and settled. I hope the families that I photograph feel the same way about their pictures. I hope their pictures evoke a feeling of happy reminiscence. In all the chaos (and there IS chaos at a newborn session! Crying, spit-up, feeding, settling…) there are the quiet moments. Those are the ones I try to capture so that looking back you feel the soft baby skin, smell the new baby smell and feel peaceful.
If you are looking for Asheville Newborn Baby Pictures, please send me a message! I would absolutely love to photograph your new baby! Baby sessions can take place at the studio or your own home. Whichever you prefer!
Tip: If you are new to newborn baby photography and you feel overwhelmed by a baby who will not settle or sleep. Try not to fret too much! Use it! If baby is crying or only wants to be held by mom, put her in some good light and shoot it! If you’re patient and you have your space set up correctly, every baby will eventually calm down. Even if only for a minute or two. If you are calm, it will help the family and baby to feel calm. If you’re freaked out, they will be too!
