Asheville Children's Photographer
When I have sessions with kids who are old enough to go exploring a little on their own, I use that to my advantage. I absolutely love letting the little ones lead the session. I want them to wander around and find things that interest them and really make them smile from the heart. This little girl found a rhododendron leaf that she carried with her for a good part of our session and it ended up giving me one of my favorite images from her session. My sessions are very laid back and very un-posed. If you want to add a couple of more traditional family portraits into your session, I am happy to oblige! However, the majority of my Children Sessions consist of me following your child (or children) around, finding treasures and having a wonderful time.
If you are looking for a Asheville Children's Photographer, send me a message! Children’s sessions are such a fun way to preserve memories of your kids at any stage in their life.
Tip: Struggling to get real emotion in your children’s pictures? Try to allow your child to take the lead. Instead of directing them where to stand and what to do, ask them where they would like to go and what they would like to do. Then follow them and snap shots of them exploring! You will be amazed at how much you love these ‘real’ pictures!
