Rent the Studio
Our Asheville Studio is available for hourly rentals. It is located in Fairview, NC just 10 minutes from Asheville in a funky, multi-use building.
A large, light-filled space with a wall of east facing windows and about 750 sq ft of shooting space, including a room with a background stand, seamless backdrops in neutral colors (including black and white) and available black-out curtains. The space is equipped with a private bathroom, an AlienBees 400 studio light, PLM umbrellas, reflectors, diffusers and more.
Also available as an add-on, my Studio Wardrobe and Prop Closet. I have a curated collection of gorgeous gowns from Reclamation Design, Boho Shed, Free People, Jen's Pirate Booty, Beachwood Babe and many more... There are also outfits for babies and kids from 3 months to 7 years. It also includes access to Newborn and Baby props, blankets, many colors of wraps, a posing beanbag, headbands and diaper covers. Add the Studio Wardrobe and Prop Closet for $100.

I will walk you through my workflow for a session. For each set up that we shoot, I will show you how I would position myself for the shot and then you will have an opportunity to photograph the subject. Please feel free to ask my absolutely anything at all during the session, I am an open book!

Bring your camera, lenses, memory cards and fresh batteries. I primarily shoot with my 50mm but I also use a 35mm and macro lens. However, I encourage you to bring any and all lenses that you would like to use! My style lends itself to the lenses I choose but my style isn't the best/only style out there! :)

Newborn Sessions last 1.5-2.5 hours. Maternity and Milestone sessions are generally less than an hour.

You can use the images for marketing and your portfolio. I will also provide you with the email for the model family and I strongly encourage you to share your final images with them! They are always so excited for the extra pictures!

The studio is located at 1346 Charlotte Hwy, Fairview, NC. If you type the address into Google Maps, it will take you to the wrong location. However, if you type in 'Molly Dockery Photography', it will bring you to the studio!
The Studio is located in the upper part of the building. The Studio is accessed via the white door. There is an upper parking lot that can be accessed easily by taking Charlotte Hwy to Taylor Rd and an immediate right (in front of the Library). The parking is located immediately after the auto mechanic shop.
